La Crosse County ATV And Snowmobile Information
The La Crosse county snowmobile alliance maintain approximately 160 miles of trails for the six member clubs that handle the marking and maintaining of the trail system. Our trails in the county range from a bike trail along Lake Onalaska to climbing a bluff to a view overlooking the La Crosse river valley below. Trempealeau County ATV Club
The most scenic trails in the midwest. Trails range from green diamond to double black diamond and there are 15 guided groups from beginner to the most advanced. The Trempealeau County Trails offer many variations of terrain and riding conditions ranging from easy, flat field roads to extremely steep, tight woodland trails to some large mud holes. ATV Safety Institute (ASI)
Learning how to ride your ATV properly is imprtant and fun! ATV Safety Institue, located in Winona, Minnesota, has a primary goal to promote the safe and responsible use of ATVs, thereby reducing accidents and injuries that may result from improper ATV operation by the rider. ABATE of Wisconsin - Safe Rider Program
ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. is a motorcycle rights and safety organization (not a club) dedicated to "Freedom of the Road." The Safe Rider Program is an award-winning, WIDOT and Motorcycle Safety Foundation Certified and Approved Training Series. Located in La Crosse County, it is designed to lower the fatality rate on our roads by training riders in the proper and prudent use of motorcycles. It also aims to increase their traffic skills and thereby improve their survival rates on the street. To this end we offer both the Basic Rider Course (BRC) (designed for beginning and minimally skilled riders) and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation BRC2 Skills Practice (designed for the rider with at least a year of on-street operation). Midwest Motorcycle Rally (MMR)
As motorcycle gatherings go, the Midwest Motorcycle Rally is somewhat unique. Old school biker types, weekend warriors, casual touring riders, technical sport riders and others come together in what could pass for a family reunion on motorcycles. And speaking of motorcycles you’ll see scooters, full dressers, sportbikes, trikes, customs, and everything in-between. The Rally takes place in Winona, Minnesota each year in mid-July and featured guided bike tours through the bluffs and along the riverways southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin are famous for. Eleva-Strum Rail Riders
The Buffalo River State Trail stretches 36 miles between Mondovi and Fairchild WI. It is enjoyed by many year-round recreational activities such as snowmobiling, biking, ATV/UTV, walking/hiking, hunting and horseback riding. The Eleva-Strum Rail Riders summertime trail maintenance focuses on a 7.5 mile stretch that encompasses the Villages of Eleva and Strum.
